Publication Year: 1981.

Granite Canyon, Givler’s Arête. This route, the first prominent buttress on the south side of Granite Canyon, was climbed on August 25, 1979 by George Montopoli and Keith Hadley. Six pitches were involved, but the first lead of 150 feet proved the most difficult, at least F9 in a three- to four-inch crack. (NCCS III, F9.)
