Illimani. A traverse of the three peaks of Illimani was made by three Argentines of the Club Andino de Mendoza, Guillermo Vieiro, Ulises Sila Vitale, Rafael Juarey, together with Ernesto Sánchez, a member of the Club Andino Boliviano. Climbing the north peak by the west-ridge route, they traversed to the central and south peaks and descended by the standard, west ridge route. The traverse took from July 16 to July 24.
