P 7455, P 7420, P 6600, Thompson Ridge, Chugach Mountains. On June 7, a six-man joint St. Elias Guides and American Alpine Institute expedition flew to the Thompson Ridge area near the headwaters of Granite Creek. On the 9th, we attempted P 7455 but turned back at 6800 feet due to the approach of daytime and softening snow. After moving camp higher on the 10th, we climbed P 6600 on the evening of June 11 via an icefall on its north side. On the 12th, three of us ascended P 7455 via its northeast ridge up steep snow, ice and rock. On the 13th, four of us climbed P 7420 via 5th-class rock on the southwest ridge after crossing an unnamed glacier to get to the base of the ridge. We believe these were all first ascents.
