FATAL FALL ON ROCK

On June 7, a 19-year-old Columbia Falls man died following a climbing accident on Mt. Brown in Glacier National Park. Park officials received a call around 3:00 p.m. regarding a missing person. Two individuals planned to hike and climb Mt. Brown. One of the team members lost contact with their climbing partner. National Park Service personnel searched for the missing climber and Two Bear Air located the decedent’s body around 7:00 p.m.

ANALYSIS
