In April 2018, a team of eight, mostly French, did a 150km ski tour going up the Nobande Sobande Glacier, across the Skam La (5,600m), and down to Snow Lake and the Biafo Glacier. On April 24, Hélias Millerioux and Léo Taillefer (both from France) skied from the summit of Biacherahi North Tower (ca 5,880m), making one short rappel to enter the extremely steep east face. Yannick Graziani (France) and Zak Mills (USA) downclimbed from the summit to the rappel, and then all four descended the east face, the three French on skis and Mills on a snowboard. The adventure was documented in an excellent film, Zabardast.
