Josh Lavigne and Craig McGee completed a beautiful new route up the south face of Pigeon Spire in August, with help in earlier seasons from Jesse Bouliane and Marc Piché. Draco (800’, 10 pitches, IV 5.12-) follows cracks and corners to the right of the southeast buttress, eventually reaching a headwall with a huge golden dihedral, which was climbed in three long pitches of “meat and potato” jamming.
