During September and November, Rodrigo Chabalgoity, Pablo Cuadra, Jacob Perkinson, Christian Steidle, and I, along with 17 NOLS students, completed an expedition in Jeinimeni National Reserve in the Aysén Region. On October 17, our group made the first ascent of Cerro Tordillo (2,310m, 46o48’33”S, 72o14’36”W) by its east face, from a high camp in the Ventisquero Valley. The route was 1,000m, 40°.
