Cochamó Valley, Summary of New Climbs in 2014–2015

Daniel Seeliger has noted a number of long new climbs completed in Cochamó from 2014 to early 2015 that were not previously mentioned in the AAJ. They are listed below. On Arco Iris Wall, Hillo Santana and Daniel Arcifa climbed La Luz Que Ilumina (5.8 A2+). On Cerro La Junta, Daniel Seeliger and Eric Blake climbed Gardens of the Galaxy (900m, 5.11 A0). On Cerro Noemi Walwalun, Logan Fusso, Oliver Abbitt, and Jordan Collins climbed Al Lado del Corazon (10 pitches, 5.11+), Andrew Andraski and Grant Simmons climbed 50 Años de Libertad (685m, 5.11), and Andrew Andraski and Logan Fusso climbed El Cambio Entre Sombras (15 pitches, 5.12-). On Pared del Perfil, Jim Taylor climbed Cocho Mojo (5.11+ A0). On the backside of Gorilla Wall, J.B. Haab and Nico Rivas climbed Tio Tiedro (8 pitches, 5.12). On El Espejo, Artemia Ramirez Acevedo, Luis Carlos Garcia Ayala, and Carlos Sandoval Olascoaga established Mapudungun (535m, 5.12b), a variation to Through the Looking Glass.
