At the start of January 2016, my friends Jiri Lautner, Filip Martinek, David Michovsky, and I, all Czech, climbed a new route on Jebel Misht. We choose a line 50m to the right of the route Make Love Not War (2003) on the southeast face, the steepest part of huge southern wall. We finished our route after seven days, including three nights on the wall. There are big ledges, so you do not need portaledge. We drilled 35 protection bolts and 22 belay bolts. Because of some loose rock, we had to follow Make Love Not War for two pitches, but most of our line is completely new: Boys Don’t Cry (1,000m, 21 pitches, 7c+ redpoint).
