Our section continues to grow and build local support. This past year we teamed up with the Black Hills Climbers Coalition and the Access Fund to build and redevelop some major climbers’ trails in Custer State Park. We also teamed up with the Black Hills Climbers Coalition to co-sponsor the Reel Rock Film Tour, which continues to be our largest event of the year, bringing 300 climbers to Rapid City for the night. In the coming year we look for- ward to developing an annual fall climbers’ gathering in Custer State Park and working with the Black Hills Climbers Coalition to develop a climbers’ campground.
