Cerro Albardón del Potrero Escondido (5,112m) is part of the Cordón del Potrero Escondido Los Clonquis, outside of Mendoza. In November, Adrián Petrocelli and Glauco Muratti (both Argentina) departed from Punta de Vacas to make the first ascent.

They made four camps as they approached up the Quebrada Potrero Escondido. The lack of winter snowfall and hot conditions made travel difficult. While one would normally expect south-facing couloirs to contain large avalanche cones at their base, the climbers found black névé and rotten water ice. The pair reached the summit on November 20. The last section was easy 40º snow. They descended the same route and returned to Punta de Vacas in two days.
