Wyoming: (2) Tetons. Four college boys, driving up to the Tetons in the early afternoon, decided to scramble up the mountainside. Tourists directed them in by a small road They found their way to the lower snow slopes of Teewinot - - not knowing what peak they were on. Here they glissaded until one, Alfred Banks, lost control and slid 200 feet to rock, and then another few tens of feet down the rocks. He suffered multiple lacerations of the head and a badly bruised hip. The others took about six hours to carry him down the mountain.
