Mt. Chamberlin, Innominata

United States, California, Sierra Nevada
Author: Dave Nettle, AAC. Climb Year: 2010. Publication Year: 2011.

On July 3, 2009, Dave Nettle and Reuben Shelton climbed a new route on the central buttress of the northeast face of Chamberlin. Innominata (5.11 A1) is mostly free, with two points of aid, and climbs all independent terrain. It starts with two vertical, wide-crack pitches just right of Breaking Point, continues straight up on the far right side of the central buttress and then into big, steep corners just right of the number “3” in the photo on p. 147 of the AAJ 2007.
