Schweizerland, Various Ascents. It was reported that an Italian expedition of Luigi Airone, Paolo Cavagnetto, Fabio Jacchini, Ercole Passera, Allessandro Quagliolo and Cesare Racaschietto skied from Tasilaq with 100-kilo pulkas to the mountains around Tupilak in June, making three possible new routes. On June 13, they climbed Dia Pero (TD+, 6c), a 600- meter route on an unnamed pyramid (ca. 1700m). On top the remains of a German tetropack were found. On June 16, Pilastro del Centenario (TD, 6a, 900m) on the east-southeast ridge of Rodebjerg (2140m) was climbed in ten pitches; an empty aspirin bottle was found on top. On June 18, the team climbed Sedna (ED2 6c A2+) in 15 pitches during three days. Ropes were fixed to the top of pitch 9; the route appeared to be the first ascent of an unnamed pyramid (ca. 1700m).
