Reticent Wall, Solo Ascent. Tomaž Humar (Slovenia) climbed El Capitan’s Reticent Wall (VI 5.9 A5, 850m) solo, finishing on October 26 after 15 days on the route. In Slovenia, in the Kamnik Alps, Tomaz has put up several demanding technical routes (A4 and A5). After climbing the Reticent Wall, he felt his routes in Slovenia have been graded correctly. He is the first European climber to solo the route, and third overall.
