Schweizerland, Various Ascents. It was reported that Britans Ian Brewer, Rupert Finn, Steve Fisher, Lucy and Richard Pash, and Cynnedd Richards skied some 100 kilometers through the Caledonian Alps and across the Glacier de France to reach their chosen area of exploration. From July 13 to August 22 they climbed 28 routes, 24 of which were on virgin summits. Most of the peaks were climbed by the easiest routes on the mountains to allow for one-day ascents.
