Kichatna Spires, Various Ascents. Kevin Thaw (U.K.) and Calder Stratford established two new routes in the Kichatna Spires. The pair first established Dreams of Sea on the south buttress of Peak 8400. The route is comprised of seven 60-meter pitches with difficulties up to A3. Next the duo put up Alaskan Rose on the south buttress of Tatina Spire. This route is made up of nine long free pitches with a 5.11R crux.
