Lake Powell Area, Tower Butte, West Face. Davy Insley and Jason Keith first ascended this remote butte. Approach by boat from Wahweap Marina near Glen Canyon Dam on Lake Powell. Proceed uplake to a campsite a short ways up Labyrinth Canyon. Hike south through dry washes toward the base of the butte's talus. Continue around the west face. The route begins from the highest talus on the western side. (IV 5.9 A3, eight pitches)
