Bauljuri. The National Outdoor Leadership School sponsored a mountaineering course which climbed Bauljuri (5922 meters, 19,429 feet). From the roadhead at Song above Almora, we walked three days up the Pindari drainage to Base Camp at 12,000 feet. The summit of Bauljuri was reached on September 24 by instructors Tom Bol and Krishnan Kutty and students Mark Wironowski, Julia Wilmerding, John Patton, Richard Lewis, Rob Holcombe and liaison officer PK.
