Perserajôq, West Greenland. Italians made the second ascent of Perserajôq (2259 meters, 7412 feet). Rising on the Qioqe Peninsula at 71°25'N, 52°00'W, it is possibly the highest mountain on the west coast. The first ascent was made by Piero Ghiglione, Carlo Mauri and Giorgio Cualco in 1960. This second ascent was made up the northwest buttress. The summit was reached on August 6 by Duilio Ginepro, Gaetano Magnano and Enzio Vecchi.
