Monte Bove, Cordillera Darwin, 1990. I directed an expedition for Spanish Television called “Al filo de lo imposible.” On December 12, 1990, we climbed Monte Bove (2300 meters, 7546 feet) by its east face. This peak had been climbed only once before, by Eric Shipton, John Earle, Peter Bruchhausen and Claudio Cortés on February 25, 1964, who ascended the south face and the west ridge.
