Radhanath. A 12-member Indian team from Calcutta arrived at Base Camp at Vasuki Tal at 16,450 feet on June 17. They set up Camps I and II at 17,400 and 18,800 feet on June 18 and 19. Leader Bibhas Das, Chinmoy Ghosh and porters Balbir Singh and Dharam Singh reached the summit (6407 meters, 21,020 feet) on June 20. Miss Basanti Bhattacharjee, Apurba Ganguli and porter Raghubir Singh repeated the ascent the next day.
