Assiniboine and Robson Variants. Slovenes Tomo Virk, Dr. Martina Zupan-cic, Tatjana Cerar and I did many ascents in the Canadian Rockies, Bugaboos and Squamish in September. On September 4, Virk and I climbed a new variant on the steep right side of the north face of Assiniboine with rock of UIAA V difficulty and ice up to 90°. On September 10 and 11,I climbed solo a route between the Callis-Davis route and the Emperor Face. I believe the lower and the upper parts of my route are new.
