Broad Peak. Our expedition was composed of Francesc Domínguez, Lluis Vandellós, Genis Rodríguez, Manuel Belmonte, Josep Graño and I as leader. We set up Base Camp on the Godwin Austin Glacier at 4950 meters on August 10. On the 12th, we set up Camp II at 6250 meters, leaving a cache at 5750, which would become Camp I. After bad weather, on August 13 we set up Camp III at 6800 meters. On the 28th, Vandellós and I climbed to 7500 meters, where we found we could find shelter in a half buried French tent. We continued on the morning of August 29 to arrive with bad snow conditions at the col at one P.M. At 2:30 P.M. we two reached the foresummit.
