Aguja Poincenot, Northwest Buttress, 1986. Above a prominent pedestal to the left of the 1977 Carrington-Rouse route, the Italian route ascended some 2000 feet of sustained difficulties. The ascent was made between December 6 and 8, 1986 by Italians D. Bosisio, M. Panzeri, M. Della Santa and P. Vitali, members of the famous Ragni (Spiders) of Lecco.
