Publication Year: 1986.

Annapurna Dakshin Attempt. An expedition from the Slovenskega Planinskega Drustva Trst (Slovene Mountain Club of Trieste) led by Luciano Cergol tried to climb Annapurna Dakshin (Annapurna South) by its southwest ridge. Cergol and Luciano Milic reached a high point of 5650 meters on April 21. The climb was abandoned the next day because they had run out of rope for fixing, there was fresh snowfall, they were due back at their jobs and the other two climbers were mildly ill.
