Dartmouth Mountaineering Club

Publication Year: 1983.

Dartmouth Mountaineering Club. In 1982 the DMC continued to offer comprehensive rock-climbing classes to Dartmouth College students as well as other interested parties. In addition a new winter mountaineering/ice-climbing school was organized and activated. Various members climbed throughout the United States and in Europe. Besides new routes in the mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont, three new ones were put up in Texas at 5.9 and 5.10 difficulty. Work has started on a guidebook to the relatively unknown but high-quality crags in the Hanover, New Hampshire, area.
