Charlotte Dome. John Liebeskind and I climbed Shake it like a Bowl of Soup, a beautiful 11-pitch route on the dome’s 1000-foot south face. Our route left the classic Rowell-Jones-Beckey line after the first fifth-class pitch and angled far right for two pitches of face and jam-cracks. We then went straight up over slabs, solution pockets and chicken heads into the large depression at the top of the southeast face. There, we veered right, joining the 1970 south- face line on the summit ridge. (NCCS III, F8.)
