Revelation Mountains. From June 11 to 28 Wolfgang Herzog, Thomas Strobl and I made a ski traverse of McKinley from the Kahiltna Glacier to Wonder Lake, climbing both the north and south summits. We were then landed by float plane on a small lake between the north and south forks of the Swift River, given as being 1951 feet high in the Lime Hills Quad C-4. We were in the Revelation Mountains from July 22 to August 18. The highest mountain we climbed was P 8100 at 61°31'47? N, 154°11'26? W, ascended on August 5. The other mountains climbed were as follows: P 7200 (1¼ miles southwest of P 8100) on July 28; P 7600 (? mile southwest of P 8100) on July 31; P 7600 (1 mile southwest of P 8100) on August 6; P 7200 (1 mile southwest of P 8100) on August 7; and P 6300 (2½ miles west of P 8100) on August 8.
