Our close Indian friend, Celso Villafañea, has died, apparently of injuries sustained in a fight related to tribal hostilities over climbers and no doubt also over the worsening marijuana smuggling scene in the area. All of those factors contribute to a need on the part of climbers to be very sensitive to their impact on the range. A low profile is a must.
