Peaks on the East Side of the Ruth Gorge. Dave Johnston, Dave Grimes and I did what is probably the first ascent of three minor peaks on the east side of the Ruth Gorge. In April we walked up the east side of P 7350 and the southeast ridge of P 7500. To the east of these peaks, across a small glacier that heads the Coffee River, we climbed P 7550 via the southwest face. It involved several steep pitches in a steep gully and a spectacular summit pitch up snow-covered slabs.
