Publication Year: 1978.

Dedo del César. On February 18, 1978 the striking needle, Dedo del César (6200 feet) was climbed by an expedition of the Club Andino Bariloche. The summit team was Mario González, Guido Iglesias and Juan Pablo Nicola. The latter first saw the peak ten years ago. Their 1977 attempt was beaten back by bad weather. The peak lies above the Southern Patagonian Icecap southwest of Laguna Frías and east of Cerro Cubo.
