Hanuman. This ladies’ expedition climbed Hanuman (19,930 feet) above the Rishi gorge. Camp I was established on June 21 at the foot of Rishikot at 17,000 feet. Camp II was set up the next day at 18,000 feet. Although the weather turned bad on June 23, on the 24th Miss Usha Bhide and Miss Nazneen Katrak and Sherpas Tashi and Karma dashed out of Camp II at 6:40. They were caught in a blizzard and yet reached the summit at 11:45.
