P 5334, Gabral Glacier, Swat Kohistan. The Gifu Mountaineering Association expedition was made up of Masaru Tsuzuki, Masanori Sujita, Yoshihiro Iwasa, Harumi Hibino and Ryozai Nakahara. From Kalam they went to establish Base Camp on June 2 at the end of the Gabral valley at 11,500 feet. Camps were placed at 13,800 feet on June 7 and at 15,425 feet on June 19. On June 21 Iwasa and Nakahara made the first ascent of P 5334 (17,500 feet). They then crossed a 16,450-foot pass to the Laspur valley and eventually ended up at Chitral.
