Trisul. A Gujarat expedition from Ahmedabad climbed Trisul (23,360 feet). Their Base Camp was on the Trisul Glacier near the southern slopes, between the trident and the Bethartoli peaks. Camp II was at 22,000 feet. On June 23 Miss Nandini Patel, Iqbal Hakim, Suresh Dave and the Sherpa Phu Dorje climbed to the summit. The next day all the other members, Rahul M. Thacker, leader, Miss Swati Desai, Miss Dolly Shaher, Miss Kalyani Patel, Miss Madhavi Bhatt, Miss Reeta Patel, Miss Rashmi Painter, Hemant M. Patel, Pravin Gangadia, Anil Pandya and Dr. Bharat Shukla with Sherpa Nima and porter Uday Singh, also climbed to the top.
