New climbs in Peak Lake and Upper Wells Creek Regions. Our party of six, Walter Hermann, Richard Judy, Gerald Marsden, David Sanderson, David Spencer and I, climbed in the central Wind Rivers. Climbs included first ascents of G-18 (12,100 feet) via the east face by Marsden, Sanderson and Spencer on August 18 from camp at Peak Lake and of Peak 104w (Bonney) via the south ridge on August 20 by Hermann, Judy, Marsden, Sanderson and Spencer, and from Camp at the snout of the Mammoth Glacier a new route on Mount Desolation (13,100 feet), into the Desolation-Rampart cirque, up the left snow gully to the south ridge and then over snow to the summit on August 24 by Hermann, Judy, Sanderson, Spencer and me.
