Idaho Alpine Chib. The high light of the year for the Idaho Alpine Club was a nine-day backpack trip along the crest of the Sawtooth Range. Twenty-five persons participated in the 48-mile trip. Five summits including Regan, Warbonnet, Cramer, Parks, and Snowyside were climbed. Other hikes and climbs were made in the Wind Rivers, Tetons, Ruby’s White Cloud Peaks, and the Lemni Range. The annual rock practice school was held locally in the spring. Ski tours went to the Galena Summit area, Thompson Peak in the Sawtooths, and the Teton Pass area.

Membership for the year reached 66 people. The executive council included Dean Millsap, president; Richard Curtis, vice-president; James Kempner, secretary; Cyril Slansky, treasurer; and John Echo, Joe Gale, and Joe Gasidlo, members-at-large.
