Mount Moran, Central Triple Glacier. The last of the three glaciers on the northwest side of Mount Moran was investigated this past summer on August 24 by James Greig and P. Cleveland. A bivouac was made at the base of the glacier and the next morning the snow and ice was easily ascended to the highest point of the bergschrund. After crossing on a bridge, they gained a broad ledge which traverses Peak 12050 from east to west on the north side. From the west end of this ledge a snow couloir was climbed to the ridge and the summit of Peak 12050. The west ridge of Moran was then followed east to the summit.
