Peak 10552, Sentinel Turret, Omega Tower. This short route, climbed on August 11 by Barry Corbet and Rick Medrick, attacked the short, steep face of the flatiron-like tower on the right (north) side of the eastern fringe of the rock which culminates in Sentinel Turret. After a scramble to the base of the face, the party traversed out onto the face where a vertical layback crack led to a large ledge from which a traverse left around the corner to the center of the face was followed by F8 face climbing to the belay ledge. The final lead passes a very loose flake and then surmounts an overhang via aid to reach the top of the tower.
