Antarctic. The only ascent made by the Argentine glaciological expedition from Belgrano Base was that of the nunatak called "Pantera” (Panther) by the Argentines in the Moltke Nunatak Group. The climb was made on November 28, 1958 by Dinko Bertoncelj, César Lisignoli and Claro Omar Mejias. They climbed a 1350-foot ice-wall, which makes up the edge of the antarctic continent. The climb was of moderate difficulty, requiring cutting steps throughout and ice pitons on one part.
